Laura Bush nearly attacked by Arabs on Temple Mount

Arutz 7 report
What a contrast. Laura Bush first visited the Western Wall with Gila Katzav, Israel's first lady, to put a note in the Western Wall. There were protesters who called for the freeing of Jonathan Pollard but they were peaceful and nonviolent. Then, Mrs. Bush went up on the Temple Mount to see the Dome of the Rock. There, she was besieged by an angry Arab mob that attempted to attack her. Israeli police had to lock arms to prevent Mrs. Bush from being assaulted by the mob.
Here is a clear contrast showing the contempt which many Arab Muslims hold toward other religions. A noted Christian personage is greeted with nonviolent political protest at the site administered by Jews and is nearly assaulted at the site run by Arab Muslims.
With all of the uproar over the false magazine report which claimed US soldiers flushed a Koran down the toilet, the media has largely ignored the utter contempt which many many Muslim leaders and their followers have toward other religions. Where was the international outcry when Arabs destroyed Jewish graves on the Mount of Olives between 1948 and 1967 and used the gravestones to build latrines? Where was the international outcry when an Arab Muslim mob destroyed Joseph's Tomb, a revered site for Jews, in 2000?
The media seems to have a more concern for the religious sensibilities of Muslims than for those of Jews or Christians. Why?
